Download your LinkedIn connections to keep a copy of your professional contacts.
- 1
Ask LinkedIn for your download
Sign in and open Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Get a copy of your data. Choose the option for selected data, tick Connections, then click Request archive. Enter your password if asked.
Open LinkedIn's download pageLinkedIn emails you when the file is ready. A connections-only download is usually quicker than a full archive; larger requests can take 24 hours or longer.
Your reminder choice is saved, but email reminders are not sending yet.

Find the right file
Download your file when the network says it is ready. Open the zip by double-clicking it on a Mac, or right-clicking and choosing Extract all on Windows.
Find Connections.csv in the extracted folder. Keep the original file rather than saving a new copy from a spreadsheet.
It includes connection names and professional details. Emails appear only for people who allow their connections to download them; phone numbers are usually not included.
